I surprised myself with how productive I was tonight. I could have gotten one more thing done to be really impressed, but I still did way better than the last few days. I still failed at taking pictures today, but hopefully tomorrow while Kristin is here I can find something picture worthy. The biggest news of the day is that I don't have to redo my cardio practical. My meeting with Dr. Norman went well. He gave me good feedback about my exam going smoothly and he felt like I was professional and interacted well with my patient. He said he heard the 5 min warning and knew I didn't have very much left and thought I was home free so he was shocked when I didn't finish in time to close. He understood why I double checked what I did and said that with my findings he felt like I would have struggled to close with the patient anyhow. Basically he said he wasn't planning on having me come back unless I wanted to. Considering that last night I figured out we only have 16 days of school left and in the time frame we have 2 group projects, 2 assignments, a quiz, a musculo practical and 6 tests, I think I'll pass on redoing my cardio practical.
I haven't been doing the 1 thing you're thankful for every day in November. But after a message from Timm saying "sarah baker, thank you very very very much for not being an over dramatic cunt. it so ridiculously apreciated" I thought I'd sum up a little of the awesomeness that is Timm, that I'm thankful for. So Timm, thank you for being the most honest, trustworthy person I know, that handles my stressed out mode well 99% of the time. Thank you for warming up my hands and my heart. Thanks for appreciating my nerdiness and usually not making fun of it. You balance me out super well and I can't wait to see all the awesome things we're going to do together!

three for three (in which i'm thoroughly impressed with myself)
I updated from my iPod Touch last night, but I'm not too thrilled with how the post looks on the computer, so back to the computer to post tonight. Hopefully, I can get a few things figured out and be posting from the iPod again soon.
I really wanted to do a Walking Wednesday, where I went for a walk and took cool pictures (especially with all the leaves changing and falling, it's so beautiful out), but it got dark too fast. I was in class from 8-5:15 today which was waaay too long in my opinion. I stopped at home to switch backpack for purse and headed to Whole Foods for knit night. By the time I headed home it was already dark. Hopefully next week, with an hour less of class and daylight savings, I can try to do this.
Knit night is always a lot of fun and my way of keeping in touch with the real world that doesn't involve school. Tonight I stuck around longer than I should have, but also enjoyed some delicious pasta and veggies and then later gelato (pumpkin pie!!!). Tonight I was showing off the next pair of socks in my queue, that I'm super excited about (more info another day), when one of the ladies told me I am "like a Mensa knitter." Yeah my head still fit through the door to come home but barely ;-). My hat didn't get dry last night or today, but it feels like it might be ready by tomorrow (if it is I'll have someone snap a pic at school).
Sorry for the lack of pics today, as I said before it was a super long day at school and now I need to get homework done. I know I said forever ago that I wanted to get "after" pictures of the apartment and I've never gotten it done. I was thinking since I'll be posting everyday maybe I'll just do a room a day (not only will it eliminate a photo-heavy post, but it also means I only have to clean one room at a time ;-)). I'm also excited to swap out my summer and winter clothes this weekend, I wanna make sure the sweaters are accessible before I really need them, plus I really miss a lot of my sweaters that have been packed up, so that's the to-do list for the much anticipated weekend.

rainy days and mondays always get me down
Today wasn't rainy, but it was definitely a Monday. So let's get a little motivation going on, shall we?
Much better! Although now all I wanna do is dance and not study. Hanson is working on a REFRESH campaign to try and get their video count up on YouTube and MySpace. They have promised the Fansons a live streaming Christmas special if the views are up to 1 million and 2 million, respectively. I complained to Timm that even if they get the views up and do the special, I won't have anyone to watch and appreciate it with me, as I will be going to my parents for Christmas and can't convince him to go with me. However, Timm said yesterday that he might go to "hell" with me for X-mas if they meet their goal and end up doing the X-mas special. So REFRESH, REFRESH, REFRESH (and yes that's Weird Al playing the tambourine in the red pants).
In other news, we cut our cadaver's heart open today at school, which 1)sounds pretty bad-ass and 2) was pretty cool. It surprisingly looked a lot like the text book pictures (and even though you would think a lot of things do, most of them don't). I also had a forced meeting with my advisor, where I did not get kicked out of school!! I wasn't worried that I would be, but sometimes it's nice to be told you're doing well and then asked if you're still managing to sleep and eat well and stay healthy (all of which feel debatable at times).
